Nigel Cabourn 2012 Spring / Summer Surface Jacket

Sticking to his penchant for military classics and workwear-driven designs, Nigel Cabourn has created this Surface Jacket as a part of his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Inspired by the “Desert Rats” of the British Army, stationed in North Africa under the command of General Bernard Montgomery during World War II, the oilcloth jacket features vintage deadstock military hardware alongside an adjustable belted waist, fixed hood and numerous pockets throughout. Half-lined and finished off with a covered placket, the made-in-England Surface Jacket is now available in army green for £695 GBP (approximately $1736 USD).
