Established in 1970 and led by visionary brothers Rafi and Art Baz, these Smiths have pioneered the art of salvaging military uniforms, tents and hardware using them to construct bags, totes, belts and other products for today’s fashion minded men inspired by vintage military gear.
Made from vintage denim, quilted HBT herringbone from Belgium, salvaged military tents and soldier uniforms, wool blankets from the 1940’s and 1950’s, West German cammo from the 1980’s, vintage European carabiners and European leather straps dating back to the 1930’s, the first items released include totes, laptop bags, and iPad sling, belts and key chains.

Me and my buddy Deejay Forte were conversing on a post i had recently put up involving the Will Leather Goods Camera Bag. He didn’t feel like spending that kind of money right away for that so he decided to take an already used generic canvas messenger and sew on some new leather straps, flaps, and even a few wooden toggles to touch it up a little more. I think it came out great and for little money. Sometimes, putting some work into something pays off.
