Buzz Rickson’s Autumn/Winter 2012 – A Closer Look

We start off today with Rickson’s. While they’ve long be regarded as masters of the repro, a cult label, there’s always been something accessible about the brand. The lines are a mix of pieces exact to the originals; military outerwear, flying leathers etc, all of which tend to attract the vintage-head crowd. Alongside this, easy to wear sweats, t-shirts and footwear that wouldn’t feel out of place in any modern get-up. In the same vein, we we’re particularly impressed by Rickson’s sub label, Aviation Associates. Ever the creative bunch, the designers felt they wanted more room to produce pieces which weren’t strictly reproductions but took elements of classics to make something familiar. We point you towards the incredible Number 7 leather sleeved jacket and the canvas Mackinaw coat.

While we stare for an inappropriate amount of time at the patch heavy, olive nylon L-2 and MA-1 jackets, take a look through the gallery for more of the good stuff. Carry on over at Buzz Rickson’s.

Fred Perry Authentic  - 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

Aptly dubbed the “Team Travel Story,” Fred Perry has drawn inspiration from the on-the-road representation of clubs and their coinciding fashion for its latest lineup. The Authentic Collection notes an unmistakable ’60s-inspired casual look, implementing classic color combinations atop iconic pieces. Taking on many recognizable visual characteristics, the overall aesthetic of the range lends attractiveness to the typical sportsman, all the while maintaining their accustomed mature look and feel.

7 Diamonds - Spring / Summer 2012

The 7 Diamonds brand has established itself as an exemplar in the fashion industry through its innovative designs and fashion forward attitude. Initially introduced to the world as an innovator of button down shirts, we have since expanded our line to include a full scale collection of products consisting of knits, sweaters, leathers, outerwear, denim, and non-denims. After more than ten years of transcending boundaries, revolutionizing the fashion industry and evolving into the superior brand we are today. We hold more firmly than ever before to our core philosophy and continue to put the product first.

Klaxon Howl Autumn / Winter 2012 Collection

Canadian label Klaxon Howl always go to lengths to create a bit of a story with their lookbooks. Autumn Winter 2012 sees men of ye olde worldy days gathering around the fire to swap stories and show off some unsurprisingly sharp garms. Strong on the outerwear as ever, add to that heavyweight knitwear and a couple of excellent vests, Matt Barnes’ photography continues to give the brand a unique feel.
