Lee 101 presents reworkings of old styles from the archives. Here for Fall 2012 they bring back the 1920s style Loco chore jacket, 101 Z regular fit zip fly jeans and the Union vest. The collection is formed from Heavy weight green edge selvedge denim woven in Japan at Kurabo, described as “a distinctive red cast, a brighter reddish blue color with a very authentic slightly streaky character.” Interestingly each piece is lined with blanket fabric, including the jeans, which will make for warm legs on cold days. Find the collection here.
Workers “May” Collection
Always returning to Workers, K&TH – a small scale operation from Takashi Tateno based in Kurashiki, Japan. The collection moves around the same themes of classic American workwear so don’t expect to see future-leggings or ‘directional wardrobing’ anytime soon. For May Wabash fabric returns in a smart vest and railway jacket, alongside a heavy canvas tote, polka dot shirt and parachute trousers.
