The 180-year-old Swiss company has been releasing some of the finest timepieces since Andrew Jackson was shaking up the White House. The newest addition to their roster is the Flyback Chronograph, so named for its one-push buttons to operate the time dial and stopwatch. The vintage look of the face, complete with telemeter and tachymeter, is offset by the bright blue hands, while the screw laden guts are visible in the rear.

Offered with a desk stand and two choices of chain clasps, this horological beauty establishes an iconic demeanor fit for modern times. IWC - Ingenieur (Vintage) // History
No other watch from IWC has cemented the company’s reputation for technical expertise as strongly as the first Ingenieur, launched in 1955 with an IWC automatic movement housed in a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields. The giant leap from hand-wound to automatic movements had been made four years earlier with the then revolutionary IWC 85 calibre with central seconds, whose origins dated back to the 1940s.However, it was only with the Ingenieur that IWC catapulted itself into the vanguard of Swiss manufacturers competing to create the first bidirectional automatic movement. Taking great inspiration from original watch design from the late 20′s and 30′s, the Heritage Pilot holds true to the same four core principles that made Alpina big, anti-magnetism, water-resistance, anti-shock and stainless steel casing while providing a timeless understated aesthetic. However, in the inside you’ll find an updated hand-winding caliber AL-435 with a 42 hour power reserve and Cotes de Geneva decoration.
JUNGHANS X Bench & Loom Germany’s Junghans works a special configuration for their Chronoscope automatic forBench & Loom. The chronoscope “is named for its famous designer, the Bauhaus-educated Swissman Max Bill who was renowned for his perfection of proportions.” Its a big one at 43mm on the stainless steel casing.
